FFDShow Audio / Video Codec Collection (rev1406_20070805 )
A collection of audio and video codecs that have worked well for me. Nice installer and you can then configure each filetype to use these or other installed codecs for that type. This has worked well with the newer HD formats.
This is a video DShow splitter that makes playback on many Windows systems possible for odd formats. Works well along with the FFDShow codec collection.
The FREE SignalSwitch Plugin from RML Labs
A wonderful utility that allows you to create a talkback channel on the SAWStudio virtual console. Plug any microphone into the system and assign it through a virtual console channel in Live Mode, then patch this plugin in the Pre-Patch point. The plugin will block the signal until the large switch is clicked and held with the mouse. You can also latch the switch if desired. It displays a meter showing signal levels when active. This is the perfect solution for the virtual recording session giving you a talkback mic assignable to any or all of the Aux Sends for headphone monitoring to the performers. Any mic can be used, including condenser mics with no regard for special switching hardware to mute the mic signal without interfering with the phantom power. You can also use a Gameport or an inexpensive USB-Gameport adaptor and hook up two footswitches or desktop switches to control the plugin from. Perfect for giving the producer his own talkback switch for communication during the session. You can even patch it in two separate channels and use a separate mic for the engineer and producer at the producer’s desk, each with their own physical switch if desired. A must have for the serious virtual studio enthusiast. Yours FREE from RML Labs.

Audio / Video Codec Collection
A collection of audio and video codecs I found on the internet. Contains a very nice installer allowing you to select individual or multiple codecs. This collection also includes MPeg2 decoders and Dolby Surround decorders which can help SAWStudio's Video Track Viewer play back MPeg2 and DVD encoded files. Be sure to read my included readme file for special notes about using this with SAWStudio.
An interesting collection of files that can create an alternative to the QuickTime media player to allow viewing of QuickTime .mov files. It also includes a QuickTime DirectShow linker file that will allow Windows DirectShow applications, like SAWStudio's Video Track Viewer, to play back most of the QuickTime .mov files directly. Be sure to read my included readme file for special notes about using this with SAWStudio.
The MeterBridge plug-in can be used with Jon Marshall Smith's JMS FX32 Linker plug-in to bring an extra set of meters into SAWStudio. Plug the MeterBridge into your output tracks, and have a visual reference to your output levels at all times while you are working on your session!
SAWPro VST Linker
This linker was taken from the SAWPro program and can be used in SAWStudio along with Jon Marshall Smith's JMS FX32 Linker plug-in to access VST plug-ins that do not create their own graphical user interface, without the need to purchase a VST wrapper program.
